Instead of celebrating the number of years we are on this planet in this life, I think it would be good to celebrate having more and more experiences of life. For it is in experiencing that we live, and in experiencing that we understand and know.
How did you get to where you are now?

I think the most influential guiding force has been the sense that there is something else beyond what I can see or perceive at any moment. Then I had to trust in this sense even when all around me was in conflict with this. Then go forward and experience with these trsting eyes and heart.
The tricky thing has been that this "sense" changes as I mature. If I try to listen to the same inner voice that may have guided me through tough situations years ago, that same inner voice is not there. It changes and evolves, as I must. As my eyes open, I cannot squint my eyes as they were before, and think that this vision serves me today.

God is everything, and nothing. The passionate life of existance, and the potentiality of non-existance. God is Being, and non-Being. God is in our moment right now, and the pure consciousness that we awake to. God is as close to us, as we allow ourselves to be.
